Why?: Jeannine and I stayed for a weekend and wanted more. If you're looking to absolutely pamper yourself while enjoying some of the most beautiful sights in Otago, this is a great choice. One of only a few places to receive a five-star rating on the South Island for quality and location. Plus, this B&B is directly on the gateway to either Wanaka or Queenstown.

Shibui Accomodation | Nelson | South Island
Why?: A simple, yet beautiful 'hotel' in the heart of Nelson. Japanese themed rooms each uniquely styled and gorgeously crafted. Large stone tubs, soft king size beds, and a cool atmosphere make this a great retreat on the way to the Abel Tasman park or coming back.
