Photos:

A view of the mountains on the way home from Wanaka.

A small sample of some of the roads you may find yourself navigating on the outskirts of Dunedin. This dead man's turn required a throw of the dice to decide to go through or not. (There's no way to tell if a car is coming in the opposite direction.)

Looking almost like part of an enchanted forrest, these pine trees are the first thing that welcome you on the trek up to Mt. Cargill.

Continuing on the Mt. Cargill trail...

The pine trees here are some of the largest in the world. These trees are actually one large tree. The woman standing there is part of the trees as well. Amazing.

Another view from Mt. Cargill.

Dunedin as see from the top of Mt. Cargill.

Looking down one of the main streets of Dunedin.

Another view of George St.

The beautiful Dunedin Train Station.

Another view of the train station...

Looking down from the balcony inside the train station...

Busy George St. at noon.
